Ireland Portugal Spain and greece teeter on the edge of default,yet the United States stock market rose again. Can anyone explain the reason why? There really isn't any reason for the market to have climbed in September. Data point after data point proves and shows that the worlds economies are in jeopardy yet money is flowing into equities from where noone really knows. The markets rise and the bearish etfs stand still,even in a down day these bear funds dont move like they used to. Is someone pushing the United States stock market upward in a show of strength? Wouldn't tampering with a free market be illegal?
